Green license plates identify commercial vehicles in Japan and are issued to vehicles authorized for commercial operation. When booking a private chauffeur or transfer service, choose a properly licensed operator and book in advance.
In Japan, white license plates are used for private vehicles, while green plates are used for commercial vehicles. Carrying paying passengers in a white-plate vehicle is commonly known as "shiro-taku" and constitutes illegal operation. Such vehicles generally lack a commercial operating license and fall outside the insurance and safety management arrangements for commercial passenger vehicles, so passengers may have difficulty obtaining adequate protection if an accident occurs. Green-plate vehicles are operated by properly licensed companies authorized by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. They undergo regular inspections, their drivers hold Class 2 licenses, and they carry appropriate commercial insurance. All our vehicles are properly licensed green-plate vehicles, so you can book with confidence.
A full-day charter covers 10 hours. For the Alphard and HiAce, overtime is charged at JPY 1,000 per hour. Please contact us for overtime rates for other vehicle models.
Yes, child seats are provided free of charge. Please tell us your children's ages and the number of seats required when booking.
Please tell us the number of passengers, the number and sizes of your bags, and whether you are bringing a stroller. We will consider both seating and luggage space to help you choose a suitable vehicle.
